Men’s Retreat
The men of UUCSR hold relaxed, informal, and enjoyable gatherings several times a year where men of the congregation and their guests can deepen relationships, make new friends, and explore issues common to men. No prior “men’s group” or retreat experience is necessary. For many men, these retreats are the first time they have ever attended a men’s gathering. One does not need to be in a men’s group to attend. All men who are UUCSR members or pledging friends and their guests are welcome.
The 2024 “annual” Men’s Weekend Retreat will return for a second year to Black Mountain Retreat Center. Operated by a permanent community of Tibetan Buddhists, this retreat venue is located on 485 acres of extraordinary natural beauty in the rolling redwood hills West of Cazadero, one hour from Santa Rosa.
We will gather Friday afternoon/evening April 19th through Sunday afternoon April 21st, 2024. This year’s cost is $165, which covers two (2) nights lodging (mostly dormitory style accommodations) plus six (6) meals. Scholarships will be available. Registration tables will be available at Sunday morning services March 24th through April 7th.

Half-day Retreat Potlucks – A few times a year, ten to thirty men gather at UUCSR to enjoy the fellowship of men, make new friends, reconnect, share what’s happening in our lives, share what comes to mind, and share a meal together.
