Volunteer Opportunities 

Coffee Hour: Volunteers are needed to assist with the coffee hour after the Sunday Service. Please contact Carol Weisker or visit the coffee area after the service. It only takes a few hours a month to be of great service helping to bring coffee and snacks to the congregation. SNACKS and cookies are also gratefully accepted as these are all provided by volunteers. Thank you!

Office Helpers: The front office could use some more Office Helpers to help watch over the front desk, one day a week for 2-4 hours a shift. Typical jobs include answering the phone and the door, getting the mail, and doing other odds and ends to help the office run smoothly. Come join in the fun and be a part of the hub in the front office! If interested contact Aphrodite at administrator@uusantarosa.org

Ushers & Greeters needed. Requires volunteers to come in 15 minutes before the service starts to welcome congregants. Also requires passing the offering bags during the service. Please contact Jami Kerr

HR Committee: If you are a bit of a policy wonk, if you enjoy looking at the big picture, if you like writing and research and see yourself as a critical thinker, then you’ve found your match! For more information contact Erin Howseman , Debby Belansky or Helga Lemke at hr@uusantarosa.org

Glaser Center: Are you a proficient social media user? Do you like working on creative projects? Are you interested in helping us grow our rental business with your creative ideas to help sustain our beloved community? If so, the Glaser Center Committee could really use your help on a temporary basis to help us target some new markets and brainstorm some ideas for attracting new renters. Please contact Aphrodite or Linda Balabanian for more info.

Memorial Garden: We need someone with historical knowledge to share that knowledge with our Administrator so she can make some upcoming decisions. Please contact the office administrator.

Saturday Workdays:  The first Saturday of every month is a workday dedicated to maintaining our physical facilties, including building and grounds.
